Kimi Raikkonen, Back on Top!

After 113 winless races, Kimi Raikkonen finally took his 21st F1 victory this past weekend at Circuit of the Americas.

Making the pass for the lead at the start, breaking a streak from Abu Dhabi 2016 of not making up any places on the first lap of a Grand Prix, holding off Lewis Hamilton before his first pit stop, then holding off Verstappen and Hamilton, Kimi Raikkonen came home to take his first win since Australia 2013.Though Kimi is not known to be a man of emotion, you could almost see him cracking a smile after the race.

This win came on the 11th anniversary of his 2007 championship, and gave him the record for longest time between first and last wins at 5961 days.

Congratulations, Kimi!
