Daniel saved his best laps for the last race of the night, setting a 00:21.649 sec lap at 9:32 pm on a school night…about the same time most kids his age would be getting ready for bed.
With the summer karting season ramping up this weekend at Mosport, the Demaras Auto Racing Team squeezed in one more pre-season practice at Toronto’s Grand Prix Kartways on Thursday night. Daniel & Chris Demaras have become a regular fixture at GPK, putting in hundreds of practice laps throughout March and April.
On this chilly Thursday night, Daniel was the only under 18 year old in the building. The 12 year old racer competed all evening against drivers double and triple his age.
