The second round of the Mosport CRKC season looked promising. Daniel Demaras accumulated dozens of practice laps (between Friday & Sunday) on the Mosport ‘corporate event’ layout. Demaras felt confident.
Demaras and his competitor McDonald took turns at the top of the time-sheets throughout the practice sessions. First practice saw Daniel 2.5 second slower than McDonald. A switch to Kart #9 saw fortunes change, as Daniel lead his competitor by well over 2 second per lap.
Demaras qualified 2nd, and could not make up ground on the speedy McDonald. Daniel Demaras took home his second consecutive 2nd place finish at Mosport CRKC.
Putting on a brave face, Daniel smiled on the podium, but his post race photos show the disappointment of not winning still stings.
