With Daniel’s new kart in the back of the trailer, the Demaras Auto Racing Team headed up the 404 to Uxbridge, ready for spring training. The old Chevy is loaded with tools, fuel and enough recovery gear to cross the Sahara.
But mother nature had other ideas. The Goodwood Kartways track was covered under 15cm of snow and ice, eliminating the possibility of any running on this day.
Luckily Big Brian and the crew at Goodwood were on hand to finish preparing the kart by installing a new clutch and bigger sprocket.
The day wasn’t a complete waste. The weather kept Daniel off the racetrack, but that kart is fully prepared, and ready to race next weekend at Mosport Spring training.
