With the unexpected death of Ferrari CEO Sergio Marchionne in June, big changes were expected at the Formula 1 team. By autumn it was announced that Ferrari’s last world champion, 2007 winner Kimi Raikkonen, would not return to the team in 2019. Now, team principal Maurizio Arrivabene has been replaced.
“…we wish him the best for his future endeavors”

Sure to land on his feet, Arrivabene is a former Marlboro man, (vice president at Philip Morris) and he has been linked with a lead role at Juventus FC (a European ‘soccer’ team) by the Italian media.
However, rumors continue to swirl that Maurizio Arrivabene will explore options more philanthropic in nature including putting on weight, growing his beard longer and using his stunning red Ferrari pants as part of a new Santa Claus suit.
Good luck, Maurie!
