This week, Formula 1 testing has started in Spain. But the Mercedes are at the top of the time-sheets, so the season is pretty much over before it started. The ‘Drive to Survive’ series doesn’t broadcast on Netflix until next week, and everyone if looking forward to reliving the Silver Arrow team imploding in Germany again.
So what does a Formula 1 fan do in the meantime? Marbula One!
The idea is simple. Build a racetrack, buy some marbles, and race them. The name was just a little joke. But some people just have too much time on their hands. The lunatics behind this video series created teams based on the marbles colours
Before the race, the marbles are sent out to qualify. There’s an ESPN style introduction and race commentary. There are timing screens, instant replays and even a podium ceremony.
