With the annual TRAK General Meeting set for this weekend, many drivers are deciding whether to join a shiny new team. In early February, New Speed Motorsports threw their hat into the karting arena, lead by former NASCAR Canada driver Anthony Simone.

In another new development, Policaro Motorsport this week announced they’ve teamed up with 2010 World Karting Champion Daniel Morad to offer a complete solution to racers at Goodwood.

Are you in the Toronto/GTA area and have a kid between 10-14 years old? I am working with Policaro Motorsport and Goodwood Kartways on a junior karting team for entry level drivers to compete in the TRAK Club Championship for the 2020 season. This is one step above the CRKC championship and you will own your pro kart. This is a great way to get your kid involved in Motorsport.

Since 2015, Policaro Motorsport has made a mark on the North American racing scene with wins in Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge and Canadian Touring Car Championship. Now they’re putting together a karting program utilizing professional karts at the club level part of the TRAK Championship. The program will consist of 12 club races between April and September 2020 at Goodwood Kartways. Policaro Motorsport team will handle every aspect of the program including simulator sessions for the kart racers at the Policaro Motorsport building, storage and logistics all taken care of, and even personal mechanics provided. The team will have 2007 Formula BMW Champion, 2010 World Karting Champion and 2017 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona GTD class winner Daniel Morad as the official coach and mentor. It is an amazing opportunity for kids to move up in racing, be in a great environment and are part of a professional team.
