The first round of the FIA Formula E “marble race” under the banner of Marbula-E is in the books. The insane geniuses at Jelle’s Marble Runs used colour-coded marbles representing the official Formula E teams, the same graphics used in race broadcasts as well as announcer Jack Nicholls! The Paris track has been recreated in marble form, and ran on the same date the E-Prix was originally scheduled.
The Envision Virgin Racing Formula E team who came up with this entertaining series were, unfortunately, slowest in qualifying and the race. But to the surprise of nobody, the marble race was far more entertaining than any virtual iRacing events broadcast nowadays!
