A traditional light Christmas light show is happening now in Markham called the ‘Journey Into Enchantment’. The perfect opportunity to put the wife and kiddies in the family car (just like the old Perry Como lyrics) and go for a drive during the holiday season.

The family-friendly drive-through event is a 2 km long route filled with over 2 million LED lights. The 3D displays will remind visitors of department store window displays of the past.

LED fireworks give the event a Las Vegas feel, and the displays are so packed together, some unfortunate that drivers who arrived at the show in their monster trucks had to repeatedly do three-point turns just to wind through the course.

More than a few odd displays will catch visitors attention, like Santa driving a ’57 Chevy and Christmas monkeys climbing giant candy canes.

With Christmas Eve in the rearview mirror, you can even find a very relaxed looking Santa Clause chilling out next to his fireplace, resting up for next year.

The light show continues until January 8th 2022 at the GO Train stations at Mount Joy in Markham.
