This weekend is the second round of the Canadian Formula 1200 Championship. The races will run at CTMP during the 42nd annual VARAC Vintage Grand Prix, one of the largest vintage races in Canada.

The event is back full strength after two diffcult years. The VGP was actually cancelled in 2020, and run without spectators in 2021. This year, organizers are expecting a full house, as racers from the US stream across the border for a chance at racing glory.

Race groups include Vintage Historics (pre 1973), Classics (pre-1999) Formula Ford, and of course the Formula Classic grid, also known as Monoposto, which includes the Formula 1200 Daniel Demaras will compete in.
