This weekend marked Daniel Demaras’ final kart race. After winning back to back championships in the Toronto Racing Association of Karters (TRAK) in 2020 and 2021, Daniel stepped up to open-wheel racing and left kart racing in his rear-view mirror. But, having qualified for the K1 Speed e-World Championships back in 2019, Daniel still had this event on his racing calendar… for four years.
While Demaras didn’t podium this time, retiring at the World Championships was a great send off. Full report in the coming days.
