A teenager has been charged with multiple driving offences after getting clocked at twice the highway speed limit on Hwy 403 in the Toronto suburb of Mississauga. Just before 4:00 am, early on a Thursday morning, an Ontario Provincial Police officer pulled over a 19-year-old driving at breakneck speed; 214 km/h. To make matters worse, the teenager only had a G1 licence… a learners permit!

Automatically assumed it’s a guy driving, right? Mind’s eye sees a young man vaping away in his dad’s BMW, blasting music while speeding across town. But no! This is that rare news story where the teen was a 19-year-old female driver. She’s been handed a massive speeding ticket, slapped with a 30-day licence suspension. Her vehicle was impounded for 14 days, in line with the MOMS act.

We at Demaras Racing would like to invite this young lady to come race in the Canadian Formula 1200 Championship. She obviously has the need for speed, F1200 doesn’t have any female drivers right now. Plus, if she managed not to wreck while driving over 200 km/h, it should be easy to get her Class B racing license!. Doesn’t even matter if her Ontario drivers license is suspended, because race tracks are private property, immune to the Highway Traffic Act.

Take it to the track, girl! Instead of a massive traffic ticket, you can get a great trophy and the respect and admiration of your peers.
