Here is a video of America’s top-tier racing series, and they couldn’t be more different.

Above iss IndyCar rookie Toby Sowery going wheel-to-wheel with race-winner Kyle Kirkwood. Through sequences of corners and braking zones, their cars danced inches apart with zero contact.

Below is Austin Cindric and Josh Berry going side by side on the back-straight at Daytona. Contact, cars wrecked, and a driver spinning like a top.

It is just confounding that NASCAR is so much more popular than IndyCar. You’d almost think that viewers weren’t actually race fans, and just tune in to watch wrecks!

    1. It was recently pointed out to me that many Americans are angry. Angry how little their dollar buys, angry at companies for stealing their pensions, angry at politicians for lying to them (not going further on that one).

So, there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing someone else get beaten up for once.

Yes…there are plenty of people that go to the NASCAR car-wrestling event to see cars crash then the drivers beat the crap out of each other. Same thing as you local oval-track race on Saturday night.
