The car is the architect of freedom, constructing journeys out of thin air…and gasoline. For many motorists, the great American road trip is an achievable dream, even if it’s in a boring Honda Civic. But for working class gearheads, taking a high-dollar sports car out on a race track is just a fantasy.

But at Toronto-based GTA Exotics dreams do come true.

In 2003 Canada’s first exotic car driving experience company was born, providing Track Day Experiences in exotic supercars at an affordable price point. For e remarkably cheap price, any licensed driver can get behind the wheel of their dream car and turn laps on a race track; a pure celebration of speed.

At the end of summer, GTA Exotics brought their fleet of cars to Canadian Tire Motorsports Park for the annual Drive Festival. For s little as $89 any automotive enthusiast could drive a sports car such as the Ford Mustang GT around the track for a couple laps. For $359 they could upgrade to a supercar like the Lamborghini Super Trofeo as kind of a ‘bucket list’ experience. Here’s the other cars available to drive:

  • MCLAREN 720S SPIDER
  • FERRARI F8 TRIBUTO
  • LAMBORGHINI HURACAN
  • AUDI R8 V10
  • MERCEDES AMG GTR
  • NISSAN GTR
  • CORVETTE C8 Z51
  • LOTUS EMIRA
  • ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE
  • BMW M4 COMPETITION

For the second year in a row, Demaras Racing attended GTA Exotic’s event at the Mosport DDT. Last year we got to test out the Ferrari 458 Challenge and this year it was the insane Ariel Atom and the pure race car perfection of the Radical SR3. Absolutely amazing.

This year, things didn’t go quite so smoothly. Without getting into details, let’s just say nobody’s perfect. But the measure of professionalism is how a business handles problems. So we’d like to take this opportunity to thank Dave at GTA Exotics who was able to resolve all our issues with one phone call and make us clients for life.
