Race 2 at the CASC Celebration of Motorsports showed promise. On Sunday morning the No. 12 ran well, and Demaras even managed to take the lead for a stint.
With the YouTube channel doing well, Chris Demaras decided to run multiple cameras on the No. 12 car so that viewers in Brazil and South Africa would have something interesting to look at. While reverse angle footage of the race makes it very difficult to follow along, it was still worth shooting.

Sunday afternoon marked the 18th and final race of the 2024 Canadian Formula 1200 Championship season, and the third race of the CASC Celebration of Motorsports event. Daniel was starting on the outside of the second row in P3 and it was going to be a real challenge to hold of his racing rivals for a podium finish.
Attrition at this late stage in the season is a reality all racers have to face. There had already been a DNF from a top driver in Race 2, and Daniel just wanted a clean run to the finish line, bringing the car home in one piece and not on the back of a tow truck!
As he crossed the finish line in third place, Daniel secured a podium finish to cap off the season. He congratulated his teammate Jason Abrams for clinching the 2024 Championship, and prepared to join him for the celebration.
After the flashbulbs and cheers, the No. 12 car was loaded back into the VMS trailer for the trip back to the shop for some much-needed work.
It would be a lie to say that 2024 hadn’t been a disappointing year, with so many mechanical difficulties. But the true measure of a driver is how he overcomes those obstacles and comes back to fight agains the next year with renewed vigor.
