Girl, the original Degrassi Junior High was filmed right around here, in the east end of Toronto! So many times our local hockey arena or strip mall would end up in an episode.

Speaking of stripping, do you remember the episode where Wheels, Snake and Joey try to get into a strip joint? That was filmed right down Broadview at the old Jilly’s Tavern …which is now a high-priced condo and no longer a gentlemen’s club,.
Lol i don’t recall the episode but i know i saw it cause i saw them all and probably more than once. To be honest was never a fan of Joey Jeremiah he annoyed me, Wheels was my crush 😻
Yeah, as a boy, of course I remember the episode about the strip joint. I wouldn’t even have known where Jilly’s was if it weren’t for Degrassi Jr Hight!

Lol well Wheels did have an edge to him but also a lot more common sense.
I’m going to tell Snake and Joey about you. That there’s a lady in Manitoba who thought Wheels was WAY hotter.
