Growing up in the TV age, we all got used to outrageous commercials. From the Snuggie to the The Sham-Wow, from the the Thighmaste to Ginsu knives. Marketing agencies knew the way to sales success was demonstration. Those guys are amateurs compared to Flex Seal.

You’ve seen them seal a plexiglass panel to the bottom of a fishing bot without leaks. But that was nothing. Dude in the latest Flex Seal commercial just cut a race car in half, then epoxied it back together. Drove it around the track and it didn’t break in half.
Ha ha!
Hey… they made a believer out of me!
Yeah… I’m not driving that car no matter how much you pay me.
Crazy, huh? Dude in the commercial even comments about the twisting forces and stress the ‘glue’ is under.
.
May not have been going 200 MPH at Talladega, but the still drove a custbin half, glued together car… on a race ttack. Crazy!
Yes. Crazy. That’s the operative word.
I’ll stick with duct tape, the handyman’s secret weapon.
Maybe they secretly duct taped the frame rails together… as insurance.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they did. Red Green did some great “cut and tape” of vehicles in his day.
This reminds me of those old infomercials that made outrageous claims and oversold the products. But I gotta say I am impressed.
.
Red Green inspired for sure!
