Written in a 1945 heatwave in California “Let It Snow!” has been recorded by many artists, but the gold standard is this version by Frank Sinatra. His single was released in time for Christmas 1950 and has certified Gold and Platinum around the world. It’s regarded as a holiday favourite despite never mentioning Christmas!
The video released a couple years ago shows the magic of nostalgic music, as the old codger picks up an old album by Frank, and suddenly the crappy modern cars outside are transformed into classic cars. There’s a blue ’69 Camaro in there, plus an orange Lambo!
