When they announced that Will Power would not be returning to the N0. 12 Verizon IndyCar in 2026, the first question many asked was what to do with all the old hats and T-shirts. At Demaras Racing we’ve been accumulating team jerseys for more than a decade. Would Power’s new colours be cooler than red and black and white?

Yes. The answer is yes.

Yesterday, the Andretti Global IndyCar team presented the new livery for Will Power’s No. 26 TWG Honda and it is a stunner. Power’s car carries some of the black-and-yellow colours that Colton Herta ran in the No. 26 last year, but this year it’s carries sponsorship from TWG AI.

TWG Global, through its subsidiary TWG Motorsports, is the parent company of Andretti Global and owns the Cadillac F1 Team making its debut this season in Formula 1.

For Daniel Demaras, seeing his racing hero change teams, change number, and change livery was stressful

“Will Power has raced with the No. 12 since I was in kindergarten. The number 12 is on my car because of him. Seeing him leave Team Penske, and the #12 unceremoniously given to his replacement, it felt like my racing number was no longer special. But seeing this livery, done in Daniel Demaras style fluorescent yellow and black? It’s like Will’s driving my car.”

    1. Well, we’re involved in two series in Canada. Enduro Elite and CSCS, so we’ll have to wait and see what he schedule is like for those two before deciding to come to Washington, as spectators!

  1. Whew! I was thinking, “No more Will Power? What is one to do?” But I see it’s working out, and you haven’t lost your Will Power.
