Canada truly is the land of milk and honey. Every culture comes to this promised land to live in harmony. For example, when visiting the suburban town of Richmond Hill, the last thing expected is authentic Mexican cuisine this far north. But between the snowbanks at 10133 Yonge St sits El Bocho.

Authentic Mexican food plus live music on Fridays and Saturdays, this colourful corner adds life to the small town where all of those Hallmark Christmas movies are filmed.

Turns out ‘el bocho’ is Mexican slang for a little taxicab. No doubt the VW in the sign caught the eye of the car-crazies at Demaras Racing, but we’re already got a reservation for the weekend.
Have fun!
For a couple of years, I worked at Richmond Hill Nissan, and I remember this restaurant well because it was on my bus route. Never had a chance to go there, but I can hardly wait for your review.
