Here’s a real eye opening video of Williams Formula 1 drivers Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon. The feel-good, promotional video was filmed in the days leading up to the 2026 Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid—Carlos’ home town.
The Williams team brought their drivers out to a Spanish karting track for a little fun and competition. No engineers, no strategists, no million-dollar racecars. Just a couple of friends giggling their asses off at the karting track—just like normal guys.
But there’s nothing normal about this track—it’s literally called Carlos Sainz Karting.
Undoubtedly Spain’s most impressive karting center with indoor and outdoor tracks, restaurant, cafe & corporate events facility. The place is named after Carlos Sainz Sr. the double World Rally Champion and apparently Carlos Jr. grew up their. Their level of wealth is stunning. The Sainz family is a Spanish racing dynasty. The glimpse into Carlos Jr’s trophy room is breathtaking… until we see Carlos Sr’s trophy museum.
It’s almost laughable how intimidated Alex Albon seems! At about USD $12 million Alex Albon is certainly rich. But walking into this place showed him what generational wealth looks like.
