This Saturday night in Oakville we’re hosting a private screening of the ninth Fast & Furious film “F9: The Fast Saga“. We started our Fast Film Fest in late October, with the plan of showing all ten Fast & Furious movies on the big screen. Along the way we’ve made new friends, had cool car meets in the lot, and collected nearly $2,000 for charity ROWW. Now we’re at the penultimate film, with plans for a grand finale in 3 weeks.
But first, the return of Han and the introduction of Dom’s evil brother in “F9: The Fast Saga“!
This 2021 action blockbuster marked the return of director Justin Lin, and his muse Sung Kang (Han Seoul-Oh) to the fast family. The movie was promoted with the tag #JusticeIsComing as Han would finally confront the man who killed him, Deckard Shaw, who is now inexplicably part of the family!
The movie stars Vin Diesel plus Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster and Ludacris. John Cena was brought in to replace The Rock who got his own spin-off movie. In this installment, Dom Toretto’s estranged younger brother Jakob Toretto (John Cena) is out to destroy the world with a high-tech weapon… unless the family can stop him!
