1980 Briggs & Stratton Hybrid

The vehicle used a six-wheeled chassis from Marathon Electric Vehicles of Quebec to carry the thousands of pounds of batteries, a Borg Warner dual clutch,  VW windshield (and other exterior pieces) to create a very 80’s Mustang looking vehicle. Briggs combined their new two-cylinder, air cooled gas engine with an electric motor to boost output from a lowly 18hp.
