With Grand Prix Kartways under renovations, and the #12 kart in storage, the Demaras Auto Racing Team is feeling the winter blues this off-season. There’s nowhere to race.

But who says the karting season in Canada is only six months long? Not Innisfil Mini Indy, in Ontario, thats for sure! They’re taking advantage of the snowy conditions and giving an opportunity for racers to jump back into a kart. The track is hosting snow racing series in early 2018.

Utilizing the Arrive & Drive karts at Innisfil, racers will get the chance to practice and race throughout the day on a snow-covered track.

The four remaining race dates for winter karting at Innisfil Indy are January 7, January 20, February 4 and March 3. The pictures below are from the December 16th event that recently kicked off the winter karting season.

The track will have breakfast from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM with registration opening at 10:00 AM. The cost is $150.00 per driver and includes lunch. Practice will start at 11:00 AM and have Qualifying, a Pre-Final and Final to follow.
