There’s a recent Jalopnik article about a 5-year old girl in Japan who’s got the spirit of Ayrton Senna in her. The kid and her cats sit around the family house playing Grand Turismo on the simulator. And she’s good!
Check out the kid’s patience as she plans her attack on this white Lexus crowding her in the corners. That’s racecraft!

The Japanese are very advanced in parenting. Rather than filling this little girl’s head with visions of Disney princesses, they introduced her to the Wonderful World of Motorsports. Just look at how happy this kid is at the go-fast car parts store. You’d think the just arrived at Disneyland!
Move out of the way, lady! I didn’t come to the Tokyo Auto Show to see you…
Looks like Fake Yashu’s daughter has a love for F1. So do her cats.
With this kind of upbringing, it was only a matter of time until the kid got into a kart.
And now she’s running her own #17 in the local kart club!
Unless young Mr. Demaras and Ms. Yashu meet up at the Rotax World Finals in a few years, it’s unlikely that they will ever cross paths. But it’s great to know that somewhere on the other side of the world there’s another little kid dreaming of racing glory.
