Karts at Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Temple of Speed. Mecca of Motorsports. Their are certain tracks that hold a special place in the hearts of racers around the world. Just having the opportunity to visit Monza, or drive a road car around the hairpin at Monaco would be a dream come true.
As the Demaras Auto Racing Team grows, the opportunity to race at tracks other than Mosport or Goodwood have come up. The CRFKC series will have an event at Cameron Motorsports Karting Complex in Hamilton, and Daniel Demaras will be on the grid. There’s also an ECKC round at Trois Rivieres in Quebec later in the summer.
USAC will be holding a karting event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway from July 5 to 8, 2018 called the Battle at the Brickyard. The event will include classes for Briggs LO206 racers, like Daniel Demaras.
The karting track is made up part of the infield road course, the F1 circuit and a portion of the famous 2.5 mile oval.
2017 was the first running of the karting event at the home of the Indy 500, and it may be too early in young Daniel’s racing career to think about Indianapolis, but when asked for his thoughts on the event, his words were, “When’s the next flight to Indianapolis?”

Today, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iPad and tested to see if it can survive a forty foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!
