10 years after his first start at the brickyard, Will Power has finally done it.

After taking the lead from Ed Carpenter midway through the 500, Will Power ran a solid race to take home his 34th career victory in Indycar, and first ever at the Indy 500.

The Demaras Auto Racing Team have been longtime supporters of Will Power, in fact Daniel sported the number 12 for years because of Power.

This win comes after a career in which Will hated ovals. They’ve costed him three championships, and IMS has been no different. However, he’s now faced his demons and won the biggest race in the world.

He also had one of the best radio messages ever after winning the race, but be aware that he uses some colourful language.
