Daniel Demaras is really starting to understand the lessons Darryl is teaching. The method is simple. No adjustments to the kart all day long. Set the gear, set the pressures. Even if the setup isn’t perfect, the only changes are going to be the ones the driver makes to his line.
The track was silent on Wednesday afternoon. Only Daniel’s #7 kart on track under the watchful eye of Darryl Timmers at corner 5. Sometimes the driver would shake his head in frustration, other times the coach would raise his arms in celebration. Driver training is private. Only the chipmunks came out to watch.
