Weeks of frustration came to an end on Monday night’s CRKC event at Goodwood Kartways as Chris managed to get a podium finish.
During the practice sessions, Chris set mid-pack laptimes, but got more comfortable going flat-out as the evening went on. Demaras was able to qualify third.
Chris stayed with the second place kart, and thought about a move for position, but had to settle for the bottom step of the podium. Chris is a well liked driver around the paddock, but his poor luck and lack of skill make hos semi-annual podiums rare moments to cherish.
