Here’s a few more pictures of artist Tom Strobel’s late-60s hand-painted Art-Cars. While these were created for a Chicago-area Chrysler-Plymouth dealership, it’s obvious that Detroit was paying attention. The Mod Top cars that came out the following years were like inverted Art Cars (cheaper to do a roof rather than wrap the body).
