On October 18th, 2019, Daniel Demaras reached 4,000 K1RS points. This means that Demaras has qualified for the 2020 K1 Speed e-World Championship in California.
With two months left, any number of racers could also reach the 4,000 points mark, necessitating a ‘playoff’ to determine who would represent Canada at the e-World Championship. But Daniel is one step closer to California.
Last year, it took Daniel until December to reach the same high-water mark of 4000 points. But this year, despite competing in TRAK and MRFKC all summer, Demaras reached his target even sooner. Daniel is hoping to earn a ticket to the K1 Speed e-World Championships next spring.
He is one step closer to California.
