Policaro Motorsport is the competition arm of the Policaro Group: 40 years in operation, 8 dealerships, 582 employees. In 2020, the Policaro Karting Team will hit the track at Goodwood Kartways, focusing exclusively on bringing new racers into the Briggs & Stratton ranks.
Daniel and Chris Demaras were invited to an introductory meeting at the Policaro headquarters in Oakville. The facility is stunning! Porsche 911 GT3 race cars nestled between Bentleys and Ferraris. The garage is improbably clean for a ‘mechanic’ shop.
Shortly after 7:00 pm, Daniel Di Leo took centre stage, flanked by 2010 Karting World Champion Daniel Morad, to introduce the new team to the select crowd. With the resources available through the Policaro group, there’s no doubt that the program will be a success, and may even help find the next great GT racer!
