The Ontario Provincial Police are reminding motorists to “keep safety in mind and play safe” after an officer pulled over a go-kart driving on public roads in Grafton, Ontario. The go-kart was stopped by a member of the Northumberland OPP on County Road 2, although the police report did not indicate the vehicles speed at the time. Racing karts are capable of high speeds, have no safety features (like seat belts, roof, doors or bumpers) and are not legal to be driven on public roads.
