Monday June 8th 2020 was the first race of any kind at Goodwood Kartways in over 8 months. Neither Daniel Demaras nor Chris Demaras were in that race, but it was still a red-letter day for racing in Ontario.
For a seasonal business like a racetrack that operates from April until October only, the provincial shutdown was very difficult. But the Di Leo family put a lot of effort into getting operations safely up and running as soon as they were able.
On Monday night, Goodwood Kartways kicked off their racing season with the first of many Spring Training session for drivers in their A&D program. TRAK spring training coming up this weekend. Looks like lots of straightforward safety protocols to follow. If we all do our part we can keep racing. Stay Safe.
