Friday was another scorcher, but the New Speed Motorsports team fought through. Team principal Anthony Simone was absent, as he’s racing this weekend in the IMSA Prototype Challenge series in Florida.

Back at Goodwood Kartways, the finishing touches were being put on the track in preparation for the first big regional race of 2020.

Daniel was out on track for all 5 practice sessions, testing out new race engine ‘Skyler’ after three podium finishes with PRO-prepared race engine ‘Uniqua‘.

Old friend and former Venom Racing Solutions teammate Keidon Fletcher was at the track in his new ‘Charles Leclerc’ kart serring some blistering lap times in advance of his run in Briggs SR on Sunday.

Once the official practice session was over, NSM’s chief mechanic Leonard put Daniel to work on applying the new decals to the No. 412 Scarboro Subaru / KPMG / Laird Auto Body / Nostalgia Coffee Co kart, ready for its debut on Saturday in the KartStars Senior race.
