There are traditional gifts for every wedding anniversary. 1st year is paper, 2nd anniversary is cotton. Then there’s the well known ones like the silver anniversary for the 25th year, exemplified by the 1978 Corvette in the picture, which my wife will buy me in a few years.

In early May, it will be my wedding anniversary, and both Hallmark Cards and the Jewelers of America list the ‘traditional’ gift for the 19th anniversary aquamarine. A beautiful, semi-precious stone no doubt. But the gem’s setting is just as important as the the rock itself. The right ring can really make it ‘pop’.

That’s why I’ve decided to get my wife Garage Girls lovely ½” hose clamp ring with genuine synthetic aquamarine stones..
