The following press release was received by Demaras Racing regarding the cancellation of upcoming racing events at the Point Pelee Karting Club in Leamington, Ontario.
To all PPKC members:
Just as we saw at the beginning of last season, we are faced with not moving ahead with our planned race day scheduled for May 16th. This situation is very fluid and we will be following our Health Unit and Government guidelines while moving out of current lockdown scheduled for May 20th. We hope to have clarity as we draw closer to that date.
We will continue our planning process to host our Driver Development Day. No date is available at this time. Our hope is to reschedule events, and we remain committed to keeping you all informed through an updated schedule as soon as possible. We appreciate your ongoing cooperation and look forward to having you all back at our track in the near future.
