A Washing DC Metropolitan Police officer has been fired, and three others are still under investigation, after a drag race on public roads destroyed two patrol cars last month. The incident was caught on video.
Throughout the pandemic, local police departments have been at their wit’s end about the increase in street racing in as the number of cars on public roads is at an all time low. This is a failure to show leadership by example.
