Where do you even begin to tell the story of your first Bear Hunt at Shannonville?
Some things went so right. Leonard had the No. 412 New Speed Motorsports kart hooked up, and Demaras set the pole position!
Having the whole family out to watch Daniel compete also meant a lot to him. Mom Alice and sister Michelle made the trip from Toronto… plus dad Chris, who is always at the track with Daniel.
Unfortunately, Daniel did not bring home a Bear this year, but he fought hard and clean and fast.
But like Dom Toretto says, “It’s all about family.”
Demaras took home the Jiffy Lube Fast Qualifier Award and made it into the podium ceremony. Already looking forward to next year, and striving for the top step.
