Racing season is over, and the weather is getting colder. It looks like this Wednesday, October 27th could be one of the last good days to get out to the race track for practice. Not a drop of rain in sight, and a high of 14C predicted for Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga, Ontario.
TMP is running an ‘Open Car Lapping’ day which allows regular production cars and purpose-built race cars to share the track in search of speed. It’s not uncommon to see a late model WRX pulling up behind an open-wheeler on the straights, and getting gapped in the braking zones and corners. It’s quite a sight…and more than a little nerve racking!
The session starts at 3:00 pm and runs until dark. Sunset will occur at 6:20 pm, but the twilight will illuminate the track for another 20 minutes afterwards. For more details, visit https://torontomotorsportspark.com/road-course/
Daniel Demaras will be back on track again in the Vallis Motor Sport F1200 racecar.
