The racing season in Canada is over. Race cars are put away, and road cars already have their snow tires on. The only local events to look forward to next month are winter lapping sessions at Toronto Motorsports Park and the Porsche Winter Driving Experience (with PRO’s Darryl Timmers).

Only 700 km south of Toronto is Summit Point Motorsports Park in West Virginia. This weekend (November 19th-21st 2021) the Vintage Racing Group (VRG) will hold its annual end of season race; the ‘Turkey Bowl’. VRG is similar to VARAC, as it’s mission is to promote the active use of vintage sports cars and race cars. Their race formats emphasize safety and enjoyment for all participants.

The Turkey Bowl has more than 115 entries for this weekend’s race in diverse classes like Formula Vee, Modern Sports, GT Grand Touring and Baby Grand.
