Across Denmark in an Audi A4 Avant

~ by Chris #16 Demaras ~

Renting the Citroen C1 was a bit of a false start. It wasn’t the European experience as much as it was a really cheap rental car. But helpful Morten at the Avis in the town of Fredericia had a suggestion. In the car lot was a brand new, steel grey, 2022 Audi A4 Avant.

Only 7km on the odometer and every automated feature on Ingolstadt’s menu. Compared to the tiny cars that dot the highways of Denmark, the Audi A4 has plenty of power, and is happy to cruise at 130 km/h all day long.

At MY GARAGE in Vejle, gracious host Rasmus guided me to several amazing Audis, and I remembered the rally heritage of these German machines. I wasn’t just driving around in a family station wagon…I was in a descendent of Michele Mouton’s Audi Quattro WRC car. Luckily, there was a Lego set in the MY GARAGE gift shop.
