Autocross is generally considered to be a safe motorsport. But combine a confusing track, a rookie driver, and Murphy’s Law and you get this incident at an American AutoX Series event.
The video shows the onboard view from a homemade A-Mod car named Sharkie (which looks like it’s made of rusted out Armco barriers) as it approaches a slightly off course F-Mod car (those are SCCA classifications BTW).
