Travis Pastrana is one of those unique drivers that refuses to get pigeon-holed. He’s won Rally America Championships in a Subaru WRX and won X-Games gold on two wheels and four. For many red-blooded Americans, Travis competing in his eponymously named monster truck Pastrana 199 was when he reached the pinnacle of success.

This past weekend, Travis Pastrana took another step towards motorsports immortality when he qualified for, and legitimately competed in, the 2023 Daytona 500.
Yes, he qualified his No. 67 Black Rifle Coffee Company Toyota in last place, but Pastrana actually lead a lap during the first stage, and was running in the Top 10 late in the race, before a final lap wreck took him out of competition, and relegated him to P11.

Without a doubt, the coolest story to come out of the Great American Race this year.
