This past weekend at the 101st Pike’s Peak ‘Race to the Clouds’ there were two special participants. Leah Block, wife of the late great Ken Block, and their 16-year old-daughter Mia Block.
The Block ladies raced up Pike’s Peak, which for many gearheads, brought to mind the legendary Ken Block’s “Climbkhana” video from a few years back.
Back in 2017, Ken Block took his 1,400 HP, twin-turbo, methanol-fueled, AWD 1965 Ford Mustang ‘Hoonicorn‘ along the razor’s edge of legendary Pikes Peak. Not for racing glory… just to show that world what he could do.
