In one month, the greatest rally racing movie ever will be released. It’s the true story of the 1983 Rally World Championship and the intense rivalry between Audi and it’s all-conquering, all-wheel-drive Quattro against the legendary Lancia team as it tries to regain its former glory with their Lancia Rally 037.
The movie stars Daniel Bruhl, whom we all remember as Niki Lauda in ‘Rush‘ this time playing the role of Audi race director Roland Gumpert. Another cool detail about the upcoming film is that some scenes filmed at actual locations, such as the Balocco Proving Ground in Italy.
The film’s release date is scheduled for Friday January 5th 2024. We at Demaras Racing sure hope that the 5 Drive In is still open after new years for one more weekend.
