On Saturday, March 9, 2024, Motorama will host to the annual Fast Eddie Short Track, Drag Racing & Road Racing Night of Champions. We hope you will join us to cheer on Daniel Demaras as he is recognized for winning the Canadian Formula 1200 Championship. This is the first time in 8 years that F1200 all-star Phil Wang has not won the championship.
Taking place on the main Hall 2 stage at Toronto’s International Centre, the Night of Champions are unique and special in that they celebrate champions from the oval, straight-line and road racing worlds.
ROAD RACING CHAMPIONS:
Season-long road racing championships for all Canadian tracks (all divisions), will be honoured on stage during the DRNOC. This includes F1200, F1600 and GT racing (closed-wheel cars).
SHORT TRACK CHAMPIONS:
All track / series champions who competed on oval tracks (dirt or asphalt) will be recognized during the Short Track Night of Champions. Several competitors from Sunset Speedway are expected to attend..
DRAG RACING CHAMPIONS:
The quickest straight-line racers who won a season-long drag racing championship at Canadian tracks (any division) in 2023, will be honored. Several racers from CSCS are expected.
