~ by Michelle Demaras ~

Recently, I was finally tackling the well-overdue task of cleaning through my old drawings. Seriously, when I was little, every time I got my hands on a pen and paper I would draw something and immediately stuff the finished (or unfinished) product into the designated ‘artwork drawer’. As I was going through my ‘portfolio’ I found these drawings I made at age 6 or 7.

Made when the Demaras Auto Racing Team was just starting up, there’s two drawings of my big brother, Daniel! It’s like a time capsule of sorts, so it would be too much of a waste not to share.

My dad even found some pictures of Daniel’s very first sponsor, Laird Auto Body, plus one of me inside a U-Haul trailer. Ah…the good old days.

    1. Yes, our kids childhood creatikns take on a greater vale the older they get. My Michelle is a big girl now (14 and a half) and we all got a kick out of her old drawings.

These images are permanently affixed to the refrigerator door of my mind.

      1. You know what Susan, Im going to find more Art By Michelle to post. She got a kick out of it, but I assumed nobody else would care. But seeing a little kids drawinhs reminds parents of their kids drawings. And that positive.
