A lot of people were disappointed not to see Carlos Sainz Jr at the Dakar this year. His famous father, Carlos Sainz Sr, was attempting to win his 4th Dakar, so of course Junior should be there. Little did we know that Carlos Jr was at the Dakar, waiting to surprise his dad at the finish line!
Here’s a very sweet video from Carlos Jr’s YouTube channel, following his journey from Italy (where he’s doing pre-season simulator testing with the Ferrari Formula 1 team) and flying to Saudi Arabia to be at his father’s side.
