It’s funny how a sporting event on the other side of the world can have such a personal impact. You see, all of us at Demaras Racing have been dyed in the wool fans of Scuderia Ferrari since the days of Schumacher, Barrichello, Massa and Kimi Raikkonen. The red team is our team.

No. 55 Carlos Sainz just hasn’t received the same amount of love from the Tifosi. But he’s working on it. That pole position at Monza was special, but backing it up with a second pole-position in a row, plus taking victory at Singapore, that’s legendary!

What makes this win so spectacular is that it broke Red Bull’s strangle-hold on the 2023 season, having won every race so far. And it was the first victory for Ferrari with Fredderic Vasseur as team principal.
This wasn’t a win based on absolute pace, but a strong strategy from the team, and incredible driving from Carlos Sainz as he ‘gave’ DRS to his former teammate Lando Norris to help him battle the charging Mercedes in the closing laps. The longer the Silver Arrows battled the McLaren, the closer Sainz would get to the finish line. Brilliant!
